SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
When they graduate from high school, young people must leave orphanage/children’s home where they live. Abandoned in childhood, most of them have absolutely no family and there here are no financial aid programs to turn to in Bolivia.
The BCF scholarship program was created to help these young people from BCF-assisted homes to attain a technical or university career so they can become independent, productive people.
Since 1996 BCF has provided an average of ten scholarships a year. Beginning in 2006 Emilie’s Charities of the UK has generously provided the funds for most the scholarships.
